Perpetual Capital Management Limited (PCML) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Rotorua Energy Charitable Trust (Rotorua Trust), one of New Zealand’s largest and most successful charitable trusts.

It is responsible for the management and advisory aspects of the Trust’s investment assets and has an absolute return focus. Successfully managing the Trust’s capital funds of more than NZ$124 million (as at 31 March 2010),, PCML is seeking to manage funds from external sources in the long term.

Perpetual Capital Management Exceeds Expectations
Over the past quarter PCML total portfolio registered a +0.22% quarterly return and for Financial Year to Date, +13.90% as of 31st March 2010. PCML has achieved total portfolio value appreciation for the past five years without any fund inflows. It has continued to met regular distributions required by the Trust (currently more than NZ$5.80 million annually) so that the Trust is able to undertake charitable activities by way of donations to the Rotorua District community.
